Gonzalo Alende Serra joined Southern Cross in 2007, is the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer and serves(d) as a board member of Ultrapetrol and SMU. Prior to Southern Cross, Mr. Alende Serra worked at Tenaris where he had regional responsibilities. Before then, he worked at Impsat, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arthur D. Little and McKinsey.

Education

Gonzalo Alende Serra received his Accounting degree at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, an MBA from Imperial College, an LLM from the University of London and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Durham University; he is a CPA and a CFA Charterholder.
